Classrooms of the Future

Some schools are ditching the books and upgrading to an iPad for every student. Kids are no longer bound to textbooks for their content, and if teachers do continue using textbooks, they are less expensive and easier to update. Here’s an article that begins to see other assets to that technological education environment as well – kids as teachers is just the beginning of the possibilities, though. For example, it would also allow students to work at their own pace – faster or slower, depending on their proficiency with the subject. There seem to be vast untapped possibilities in this model.
